Established in 1981, System Engineering And Laboratories (S.E.A.L.) Corporation, an engineering firm and testing laboratory, specializes in multi-disciplined engineering and scientific consulting. We provide accident investigation and reconstruction, product testing, failure analysis, fire investigation and forensic engineering services. Our experts have worked in a wide variety of projects involving product failure, accidents and property loss.
At S.E.A.L. we are proud to offer the latest state-of-the art computer programs for accident reconstruction. During 2001, we were involved in beta testing a program called Human Vehicle Environment (HVE 3D). We became one of the first users of the PC-version. With on-site measurements and HVE 3D, our experts create a scientific visualization of your accident. Besides automotive simulations, we have created recreations of dozers, concrete barriers, crash attenuators, oilrig accidents and more.
We maintain laboratory and shop facilities for purposes of nondestructive consumer and industrial testing, safety analysis and evaluations. When possible, S.E.A.L. is prepared to duplicate the conditions and factors causing or contributing to an accident or failure for particular products or devices. We perform testing to ensure product safety meets ANSI, ASTM, OSHA and many other standards.
Fire Cause Investigations (FCI), a division of S.E.A.L. Corporation, combines cause and origin investigative information with initial scene documentation and collection of evidence to augment insurance claims, subrogation and litigation needs.
