Dr. Martin H. Williams is a licensed psychologist with over 25 years of
clinical and courtroom experience. He is in full-time clinical
practice. Dr. Williams offers expert testimony and consultation
(defense and plaintiff) in the following areas:

Dr. Williams received his doctorate degree in Psychology in 1975 from
the University of California, Berkeley. Prior to that, he had completed
internships at Veterans Administration Medical Centers in Palo Alto and
San Francisco, California and had been awarded fellowships from both the
National Science Foundation and the U.S. Public Health Service. He is a
Phi Beta Kappa, Summa Cum Laude graduate of UCLA, where he majored in
psychology.
Dr. Williams has been on the clinical staff at the Kaiser Permanente
Medical Center in Santa Clara, California since 1980. For the past six
years, he has been a Division Chief in the Adult Division of the
Psychiatry Department, where he previously served for ten years as Peer
Review Chair.
Dr. Williams is licensed as a psychologist in California (Psy 4642) and
hold the Certificate of Professional Qualification (181) from the
Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards.
Dr. Williams is a frequent contributor to peer-reviewed scientific
journals and is active in the governance of the American Psychological
Association where he serves on the Boards of Directors of the Divisions
of Psychologists in Independent Practice and Media Psychology.

Dr. Williams is a skilled communicator who is highly effective at direct
and cross examination. Many cases have settled after Dr. Williams has
submitted written opinions for defense or plaintiff. Dr. Williams is
