Anthony L. Andreoli is the National Director of the Unclaimed Property Services Group at Deloitte and Touche LLP. Prior to joining Deloitte & Touche LLP, Mr. Andreoli was the managing partner of the CPA firm Andreoli, Johanson & Wood. He is degreed in Finance, Accounting and Financial Management from the University of Southern California and is a graduate of Pepperdine University School of Law. Additionally Mr. Andreoli is a Life Fellow of the American College of Forensic Examiners, a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and a Diplomate of the American Board of Forensic Accounting (DABF A). Mr. Andreoli is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and California Society of CPAs. He is also a member of the Federal Bar Association and an associate member of the American Bar Association
Mr. Andreoli is a California Superior Court qualified mediator and is an arbitrator and mediator for the National Association of Securities Dealers and an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association. Mr. Andreoli is a graduate of the Harvard Law School, Program on Negotiation. Currently, Mr. Andreoli is completing his doctorate in Organization Change.
Most recently Mr. Andreoli authored Commerce Clearing House‘s State and Local Tax Library volume on Unclaimed Property. In 1982 he became an original co-author of the seminal work Guide to Unclaimed Property and Escheat Laws that continues in use as a major treatise and reference work.
Mr. Andreoli brings to Deloitte & Touche over a quarter of a century of experience in unclaimed property, serving as a consultant in private industry , government and public accounting. He is a recognized expert in the field of unclaimed property and is nationally sought as a speaker and expert witness in the field. As a pioneer in this specialized field, he has trained State auditors, while acting as advisor or consultant in thirty eight states. His experience has enabled him to assist in both the structuring of State statutes and in the development of their unclaimed property programs. Accordingly his grasp of State Unclaimed Property programs is unparalleled.
