Serena Morones, CPA, ASA, ABV specializes in business valuation and financial damages for litigation. Areas of analysis include: determining the value of a business, quantifying lost profits, lost business value or lost wages, performing fraud investigations and other financial investigations.
Serena has experience with a wide variety of industries, including specialized experience with professional athletes and analysis of disputed endorsement contracts. She has also been selected by attorneys, judges and arbitrators to serve as a court-appointed independent valuation expert, under the referee provision of Oregon's Rules of Civil Procedure ORCP 65.
Credentials
Serena Morones holds two specialty designations in business valuation through the American Society of Appraisers (ASA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (ABV). She has also earned a Masters Degree in Taxation, a Bachelors Degree in Accounting, and belongs to several professional associations including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Oregon Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Society of Appraisers.
She has 18 years of professional accounting experience. She began her accounting career at Price Waterhouse in 1988, spent several years as a corporate controller in private industry and has specialized in litigation damage analysis and business valuation and for the past ten years. Serena has provided financial consulting for some of Oregonís largest and most complex commercial litigation cases.
