We concentrate and provide "hands-on" services in the practice matters
identified below. We are generally known and recognized as a Forensic CPA
Firm. These professional services are usually provided to attorneys on
behalf of their clients. Many lawyers involved in either commercial
litigation or family law, are thrown into dealing with complex accounting
and/or business valuation issues. Few lawyers are comfortable in dealing in
these arenas. We work closely with lawyers to clarify these complex issues.
Since most cases do not go to trial, it is important that the discovery
process include the Forensic CPA in the early stages of the litigation. When
it comes to valuing businesses, we have experience in virtually all types.
We have provided valuations of businesses with asset values from a few
hundred thousand dollars to over one hundred million dollars, and gross
income again from a few hundred thousand dollars to the one hundred million
dollar range. All opinions provided to a Court have been accepted.
Our fee structure is flexible to suit the circumstances; rates are well
below the large, multilayered, national/international firms; yet we maintain
the same high level of competency. We work from fixed time schedules and
never undertake more work than can be efficiently and effectively handled.
All domestic travel is billed at published IRS rates, no matter the actual
cost.
